The results are in!

Three months ago we at SoKoBe held a much publicized contest to win a diamond ring (retail price $4,600). Contestants were instructed to write a short story about "why they deserved to win" and post the story onto their own website or blog. To increase the odds of winning we added 2nd & 3rd place prizes as well.

We quickly began to receive hundreds of entries, and our team of four judges reviewed them all over the past several weeks. Each story was unique and often touching to the reader. We thank you very much for sending us your entries, and at the same time getting to know SoKoBe.

The contest is now over, and it is time to announce our three very special winners. The prizes include:

First place - Sokobe Diamond Ring
- 1.02 carat, I color, SI-1 clarity with an EGL certificate. Retails for $4,600. Setting will be 18K white gold. The size will be determined by the winner.

Second place - 1/2-carat Diamond Stud Earrings
set in 18K white gold with push backs. Retails for $1,400.

Third place - 1/4-carat Diamond Stud Earrings
set in 18K white gold with push backs. Retails $650.

The Contest Entities are not responsible or liable for, and will deem ineligible, Entries that are entered/obtained by other than human means (such as by an automated computer program or any non-human mechanism, entity, or device), or for Entries that are illegible, destroyed, lost, misplaced, stolen, misdirected, tampered with, incomplete, deleted, damaged, or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules. THE PARTIES WILL SHARE EQUALLY IN PAYMENT OF THE ARBITRATOR'S FEES AND ARBITRATION EXPENSES AND ANY OTHER COSTS UNIQUE TO THE ARBITRATION HEARING (RECOGNIZING THAT EACH SIDE BEARS ITS OWN DEPOSITION, WITNESS, EXPERT AND ATTORNEYS' FEES AND OTHER EXPENSES TO THE SAME EXTENT AS IF THE MATTER WERE BEING HEARD IN COURT).
